By the time you come in, you and I will have had telephone contact so I'll know something about your concerns. We will spend our first, as well as several subsequent sessions trying to understand the problem together, and get some direction about the steps we need to take to treat the problem. In these first several sessions you will get a good sense of whether you feel comfortable with me, and if you trust I can be helpful to you. The first session lasts 50 - 60 minutes, later sessions are 45 - 50 minutes.
